It seems that Saudi club Al Hilal is not ready to give up on signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who is on loan from Napoli to Galatasaray.
In recent times, there has been a long saga between Al Hilal and the player, in the hope of securing his services before the Club World Cup. However, he has turned down the opportunity to represent “Al-Zaeem” (The Boss) for the second time.
According to Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, who is close to Galatasaray, Al Hilal has renewed its interest in signing Osimhen. The club has contacted the player again and is currently working on submitting a new offer for the Nigerian star.
The details of the offer have not been disclosed, but it is certain that it will exceed €35 million per year, which was the value of the previous offer.
Al Hilal had previously expressed its readiness to sign Osimhen for the mentioned huge salary, in addition to paying the release clause in his contract, which is estimated at around €75 million.
Victor Osimhen had completed his loan spell last season at Galatasaray, where he scored 37 goals in 41 matches across all competitions for the Turkish side.
